If you are traveling to Brazil from another country, you probably will arrive at São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro, and then you will have to flight to Belo Horizonte (about one hour). In Belo Horizonte you will land in the airport of Tancredo Neves (Confins), about 30 minutes by car or shuttle from UFMG and 50 minutes from the centre of the city (38 Km). For those who come from Europe, there is a flight Lisbon-Belo Horizonte (TAP Airlines) At the airport, there is a commercial shuttle service bus, very comfortable, with regular schedule, and it will bring you to the central area of Belo Horizonte.

Cab (from the airport to your hotel: we strongly recommend the companies which have operations in the airport (Cooperfins, Coopertramo, Cootramo, MinasTaxi) – 70 a 90 reais (it depends on the company). (about 35 to 40 dollars).
